I have been wanting to go to Seoul and have been looking at lowest ticket prices of $650 during peak periods and $499 during off peak periods. $549  already sounds like a superb deal for the dates that I am after.

I get very excited when I receive an e-mail from River Island that says:

You can easily find oxford shirts at  £10.00. This is less than BND $20.00 and some can definitely pass for work. Suits and trousers are also available at more than 50% off. What a steal! T-shirts start as low as £3.00 and shorts as low as £5.00. For husbands and boyfriends who are lazy shoppers, you could get them half a year’s (or a year’s) wardrobe just browsing one site.

KIDS

I have 2 young toddlers and spend a lot of time trying to search for matching outfits. The Mini versions in the sale section have very limited sizes as they get snapped up pretty quickly. I was browsing when my 4 year old saw the bag, she immediately said “I want this mummy, it’s very nice” and hence it gets a feature on this post 🙂

Going Somewhere cold?

We are planning a family winter holiday for late this year. Air tickets and accommodation would already be a splurge. We definitely need to invest in winter clothing but really do not want to go overboard as we do not know when the next trip will be. I have started browsing and these are some of my favourite picks from the River Island sale.

There is a £10.00 delivery fee to Brunei and normally takes about 2 weeks to arrive!  Exchange rate is currently £1.00 to BND $1.93. This makes delivery at just about $20.00 Occasionally, River Island offers free internal delivery for purchases over £50.00. In the meantime, spread the word and share that delivery fee with your friends!

In the near future, I will post a list of sites that deliver to Brunei with the postage fee along with other details.

I am a full time working mum. At times that I am not working or catering to the never ending needs of my 2 and 4 year old, I find myself browsing for good finds for myself, my kids, my mum, home, friends, colleagues, you name it. It could be for an outfit for a special occasion, a birthday gift, a retail therapy necessity, a wardrobe upgrade,  you name it!

Being in a full time job makes me appreciate my hard earned money but at the same time a little spend or splurge keeps people like me sane!  Being in Brunei makes it difficult enough for us to buy or find what we want , let alone find it at a reasonable price. Hence I would like to share my great finds , including any ongoing discounts and deals.
